Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT LINDSAY FERGUSON At home on June 9, 2003, beloved husband of Myrna Ferguson. Bob is survived by his wife of 25 years Myrna; daughter Donna of Kelowna, BC; four sons, Doug and wife Susan of Vancouver, Bruce and wife Kim of Calgary, Duncan and Andrew of Victoria; two grandchildren, Danielle and Jeremy, his sister Joy Jones and husband Ted of Fullerton, CA; parents-in-law, Frenchy and Janey McDonald of Victoria; sister-in-law Lynn Pipes and husband Mike of Victoria, and his uncle A.C. Ferguson of Victoria. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was born on November 1, 1932 in Holland, MB and received his education in Winnipeg qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1957. He enjoyed an interesting and varied career as an accountant that included public practice and federal civil service. Throughout his life, Bob was an avid sports enthusiast as a player, official, coach, manager, treasurer, owner, and builder in amateur hockey, baseball, lacrosse, and professional drag racing. A memorial service will be held on Friday June 13 at 3:30 p.m. at the University of Victoria Interfaith Chapel (pay parking lot 6). Reception to follow at the University Club. The family extends their appreciation to the staff at BC Cancer Agency and the Palliative Response Team of the Victoria Hospice Unit for their care. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made in Bobs memory to the BC Cancer Foundation, Vancouver Island, 2410 Lee Ave., Victoria, BC V8R 6V5.
