HARRY (HARRY O) LAWRENCE ORVIS On Thursday, June 10, 2003, after a lengthy illness, Harry Orvis, aged 59 years, of Selkirk passed away at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg. Harry is survived by his daughters, Carol (Joe) and Lessa (Gary) brothers, Butch and Donnie (Melanie) sisters, Theresa, Joyce, Jo-Anne, Lesley and Eleanor; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Harry was born on July 29, 1943 in Grand Marias, MB. He moved to Alberta in 1973 and moved back home to Selkirk in 1990 employed as a long distance truck driver. Harry enjoyed time spent with friends and playing his guitar. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harrys name can be made to the Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
