BARBARA JILL CAMERON (nee BLANDY) Barbara Jill Cameron (nee Blandy) of Calgary, AB passed away peacefully at home with her husband and children at her side, on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jill will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Bill, and her daughters, Laura, Kim and Mary. She is also survived by her father Walter (Fran) Blandy of Victoria, BC and her brother Peter (Ann) Blandy and their children, Sarah and Curtis of St. Albert, AB; her mother and father-in-law Sylvia and Bill Cameron of Ancaster, ON; sister-in-law Lenore Cameron and her children, Andrew and Eric of St. Catherines, ON; brothers-in-law, Bob (Louise) Cameron and their children, Brett, Shane, Ainsley and Avery of Winnipeg, Grant (Marcella) Cameron and their children, Taylor, Leah and Lucas of Calgary. Jill was predeceased by her mother Norah and her brother Colin. Jill was an exceptional teacher of special needs children and touched the lives of many students, teachers and parents through her work at Southwood Elementary School. Jill had a passion for life and approached every day with a positive outlook and faced all her challenges head on. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends on Fortress Mountain and at Shuswap Lake. Jills greatest pride and strongest focus was her immediate and extended family, and close friends. She was the social convener who enjoyed organizing many get-togethers, as documented in her numerous photo albums. This courageous lady left the world a better place through her caring and generosity.
