Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARCIA (MICKEY) FLAXMAN It is with great sadness that the family of Mickey Flaxman announce her sudden passing at age 68, on Tuesday, June 10, 2003. Mickey was born and raised in Winnipeg, educated at Machray Elementary and Junior Schools and St. Johns Technical High School. Following her education she was employed with the Government of Manitoba for approximately 35 years until her retirement. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters, Marion (Saul) Rothstein of Spokane, WA, Bernice (Sparkie) Milner of Edmonton, Clarice (Irving) Switzer of Edmonton and Eleanor Flaxman of Winnipeg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog Mishka. Mickey was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Israel Flaxman; her brother Leonard; and beloved nephew David. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the BNay Abraham Cemetery. Shiva to be held at 430 Royal Ave. If desired donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
