Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT CHARLES (BOB) KALID Born July 31, 1932, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2003. Bob was predeceased by his father Toph Kalid in 1968 and his sister Virginia Citynski in 1997. He is survived by his beloved mother Lucy Kalid, his daughter Nancy and son-in-law Kit of Vancouver; his son Bobby and daughter-in-law Ramona, his grandchildren, Robbie, Kelly, Brett and their mother Sandra. Bob grew up in the North End of Winnipeg. After a two year adventure in Lynn Lake, Bob returned to Winnipeg where he operated the Overdale Coffee Shop. Bob continued in the restaurant business for many years owning at various times Gondola Pizza, Chicken Delight, The Thunderbird Drive Inn. Bob later became involved with the Taxi Cab business. He was a past member of the Khartum Shriners where he enjoyed his years with their motorcycle unit. Bob loved cars from the time he was a boy and enjoyed swing music. He was a loving father who always had time to listen and was a mean teller of jokes. We love you Daddy. We cant believe you are gone. You will be in our hearts forever. Funeral service at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., 885-9715, Monday, June 16 at 12:30 p.m.
