JACQUELINE ANNE LYONS (nee WHITE) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, Jackie at the young age of 37 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Jackie passed away at Health Sciences Centre on June 10, 2003 with her family by her side. Jackie leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Robert, her children Tyler (seven) and Keely (four) whom she loved dearly. She also leaves an empty space in the hearts of her parents, Noel and Lila White, her brother Geoff (Alana) and their children Erin and Kieran, her brother Ian and his fiance Crystal. Jackie is also survived by her in-laws Bill and Jean Lyons, Cathy and Rick Pososki and their children Jessica and Kyle, Bill and Angie Lyons and their children Devon, Sara, and Justin, Scott and Kelly Lyons and Grandmother Lil Lyons. She is also survived by her uncle Billy (Muriel) and her cousins, Nicola and Tara; and her uncle Alex (Yvonne) and her special friend Karen. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Emma and Bill Lindley. Jackie was born on September 16, 1965 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1973. When she graduated she started working as a legal assistant at J. David George & Associates where she spent 20 years working side by side with her mother, Lila. She met Rob, through her brothers, at baseball and they were married on July 9, 1994. Jackies life was her family. She especially enjoyed going to the cottage on the weekends and sitting on the deck. Prior to her illness she never missed one of Tylers hockey games. Jackie was an Irish Dancer and teacher with the McConnell School of Dancing and she spent many years dancing at Folklorama. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Dr., Winnipeg, MB. on Saturday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Sharon Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jackies memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., R3E OV9. We watched you suffer We watched you sigh But all we could do was just stand by. When the time came We suffered too. You never deserved what you went through. God took your hand We had to part. He eased your pain But broke our hearts. If you could have spoken Before you died, these words Were sure youd have replied!! This life for me has surely passed. I loved you all to the very last. Weep not for me, but courage take And love each other for my sake. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
