She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 63 years James; her son Brian and daughter-in-law Annette (of Ottawa) grandchildren, Graham (San Francisco), Craig (Phoenix), Karen (Los Angeles) and her sister Margaret (Waylett) of Winnipeg. Anne was born August 23, 1915 at Shoal Lake, the daughter of John and Ethel Lamont and was one of five sisters, Marion (Stratton), Louise (Martin), Evelyn (Stewart), Margaret (Waylett) and one brother Hector (Lamont). All of who have predeceased Anne with the exception of Margaret. The Lamont family moved to Winnipeg from Shoal Lake in the spring of 1919 where Anne resided until marrying James in 1940 and moving to the RCAF base in Trenton, ON. Over the next 23 years Anne and James moved numerous times with the RCAF residing in Ottawa, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Zweibrucken Germany, Marville and Metz France. Upon James retirement from the RCAF in 1963 they settled down in Winnipeg where they have resided for the past 40 years.
