"OSCAR" DANIEL MAURICE JOSEPH DUMONT May 3, 1962 - June 10, 2003 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel Dumont on Tuesday, June 10, 2003. He was predeceased by his father Arthur Dumont on December 10, 1990. He will be greatly missed by his wife Candace and his children, Trevor (17), Danica (11), and Brittany (eight). He also leaves to mourn his passing his mother Marielle; eight brothers, Marcel (Louise), Claude (Janice), Jean Paul (Lynda), Leo (Betty), Gerry (Gerda), Alain (Paula), Patrick (Doris), Rene; four sisters, Ginette (Jean-Luc Boulloigne), Lise (Richard Jarvis), Michelle (Art Goossen), Susan (Dennis Ste. Marie) his in-laws, Paul and Marg Gauthier and brothers-in-law, Adam and Brad; 11 nieces, 18 nephews, and numerous relatives and friends. Daniel "aka Oscar" was a fun-loving person, who never took life too seriously. His love of art and nature was well known to everyone. Daniel lived life to the fullest and was ready for any adventure that came his way. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the childrens trust fund at Scotia Bank, Dakota and Warde, Winnipeg. Thank you to all the friends and family for all the support whether it was food or condolences. Viewing will be Friday, June 13 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach and at the church prior to the service. The Funeral Service will be held at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. Rest in peace Hon, and know that we love you and will miss you dearly.
