Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY (MARIA) GAJDOSIK It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Mary Gajdosik on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at the Poseidon Care Centre with her family by her side. Mary was born in Pobedim, Slovakia on July 23, 1915. She immigrated to Canada in 1937 with her husband and at the time two children. Mary was predeceased by her husband Gejza in September 1990, infant grandson Kyle Clouston 1973, sons-in-law Glen Shave in 1985, Ron Atkinson 2003, her parents, brother and sisters. Mary dearly loved her family and was Mom to Blondina Couston, Joseph and Kamil Gajdosik all of Winnipeg, Viera Shave of Vancouver, Joanna Atkinson of Toronto. She was a wonderful loving granny to her 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mary was a kind caring person with many interests, she was a former member of St. Emile Church CWL and St. Vital Agricultural Society. She enjoyed gardening, floral arranging, was an avid collector, enjoyed doing crafts, loved her pets and playing bingo. A funeral service celebrating Marys life will be held on Monday, June 16 at 10:30 a.m. with viewing at 10:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Marys memory to the St. Boniface Hospital, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6 or to the Poseidon Care Centre, 80 Poseidon Bay, Winnipeg, MB R3M 3E5. The family extend sincere thanks to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital and Poseidon Care Centre for their kindness and care. Mom - you did not go alone, For part of us went with you.
