Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySIGRID HANSEN (nee ELANDER) 1925 - 2003 Unexpectedly, at her home on June 12, 2003, Sigrid Hansen passed away at the age of 78. Left to mourn Sigrids passing is her loving husband of 60 years, Egon. She will also be sadly missed by her children, Roy and Debbie (Allan) grandchildren, Angie, Jennifer and Steven. Sigrid was born in Vejle, Denmark, and immigrated to Canada in 1953. She took up residence in Winnipeg with her husband. Sigrid had a love for the outdoors and cherished her time at the family cottage at Sunset Beach. The family would like to thank the Dialysis Unit at Seven Oaks Hospital for all the care and extra attention given to Sigrid. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sigrids name may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Manitoba Branch), 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with reception to follow.
