MARY HARDER On Thursday, June 12, 2003 at the Grace General Hospital, Mary Harder died at the age of 91 years. She is survived by three sisters, Justina (Otto) Herkert of Winnipeg, Katherine Derksen of Lowe Farm, and Margaret Braun of Paraguay; two brothers, Daniel Harder of Morden and Frank (Mary) Harder of Winnipeg. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Halbstadt, MB in 1911 and grew up in the Lowe Farm area. She came to Winnipeg as a young woman and worked many years for the Victoria Order of Nurses until her retirement at the age of 65. She enjoyed her retirement years spending time with extended family and also her annual trips to Texas. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Temple, 968 Notre Dame Ave. Interment to follow in Kronswiede Sommerfelder Church Cemetery at 2:30 p.m., two miles south (approximately) of Lowe Farm. Viewing will be held on Sunday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Klassen Funeral Chapel and prior to the service.
