Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM KUZENKO Peacefully, on June 12, 2003, Bill Kuzenko passed away at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 90 years. Bill is survived by his loving wife Jean ("PeeWee") of 57 years; daughter Debbie (Russell): sons, James and David; grandchildren, Shawna, Anastasia, Ivy, and sisters, Lena (Andy) and Anne (Steve), as well as his many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Dad was born in Souris, MB on January 6, 1913. He retired in 1972 after 41 years of service with the Canadian Pacific Railway. He served overseas with the R.C.A.F. from 1940 - 1945. Dad had been actively involved in serving his community throughout his life. He was involved in numerous organizations including the Niverville and South Winnipeg Lions Club (Past President and District Governor of District 5M12), Mayor of the Town of Niverville from 1969 - 1980, Board of Directors, Manitoba Health Organization, Niverville Chamber of Commerce, Chairman, Red River Health Unit, Steinbach Bethesda Hospital Board, President, Eastman Regional Development Corp., Board of Directors, Tourist and Convention Association and member of the Fort Garry Legion and C.N.I.B., Manitoba Division. Dad had a passion for life, for community and friendships. He embraced everything wholeheartedly, having a wide variety of interests and hobbies throughout his lifetime. Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, June 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the Niverville United Church in Niverville, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kuzenko Youth Foundation, South Winnipeg Lions Club or a charity of your choice.
