Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK JOHN WALLACE (GRAMPIE) June 26, 1922 - June 11, 2003 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Fred at St. Boniface Hospital on June 11, 2003, in the same hospital where his life began. He leaves behind his wife, Anne, of 52 years; daughter Anita Johnson (Gerry Dubois) granddaughter Amber-Lee Smith (Keith) great-grandchildren, Taylor-Marie, Emily, Macalister; grandsons, Andrew and Jesse; daughter Robin Johannesen, husband Mike; grandchildren, Michael and Brittany; brother Ken of Calgary; several sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Bella; his brother Roderick and sister Lillian. Fred served in the Navy during the Second World War for four years then became a member of the Norwood Legion #43. He was a Past Master of the Three Pillar Lodge. Fred was an avid fisherman at Brereton Lake for years and was always a busy and industrious man. There will be a Celebration of Freds Life on Tuesday, June 17 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
