JOHN DAVID WRIGHT November 5, 1946 - June 11, 2003 It is with deep sadness that we have to announce the death of John David Wright on Wednesday, June 11, 2003. After a long illness, John passed away at his home in Weston after struggling with various medical problems for the past six years. John is survived by brother Timothy (Shannon, Caitlin and Casey) of Winnipeg; sister Rosemarie Cook; brother-in-law Ken; nephew Andrew and niece Amanda of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; cousins, Pat and Ron Castelane of Winnipeg; and good friend Angus Taylor of Winnipeg. Known affectionately as The Professor John could always be found with his nose in a book or watching historical programs on television. His passion for books has been passed on to Andrew and Amanda and we thank John for his guidance to them. John has left to join his mother, Rosanne, in heaven, who predeceased him May 21, 2003. A kind and generous man, John was too dearly loved to be forgotten. John, may you rest in peace and suffer no more. At Johns request, cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 30 at Brookside Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
