PETER KRAHN 1930 - 2003 Passed away May 28, 2003, peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer at Health Sciences Centre. He was the youngest son of Rev. Cornelius B. and Maria Krahn. Peter was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Bernhard, Neil, George; and sisters, Mary, Nettie, Katherine and Anne. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Katherine; brother Fred (Kay) his sister and brothers-in-law, many cousins, nephews, nieces and close friends he had breakfast with. After breakfast, Peter spent time hitting golf balls at the Dome and then for some exercise to the Re-hab Centre. Peter was raised on the farm. Farming was not his forte. He was a man that loved to communicate with people and consequently became a salesman for CAMCO, selling household appliances and contractors. He was transferred to Saskatoon, SK for a spell but retired to Winnipeg. Peter loved golf. He had been a member at Pine Ridge Golf and country club in Winnipeg and in Saskatoon at Riverside. Special thanks to Health Sciences G.H. 6th floor staff for their kind care during his last six weeks. Also special thanks to Henry Enns, Aaron Falk and Dave Froese (deceased) who were always willing to go out with Peter. Thank you friends for being by his side when needed. Cremation and a private memorial service have taken place.
