ISABEL BROWN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isabel on June 14, 2003, at Seven Oaks Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Lynn Campbell (Mel) of Winnipeg; son Doug Brown (Pam) of Kelowna, BC; and grandchildren, Darren Campbell (Lisa), Dean Campbell (Maggie) of Cambridge, ON, Jason Campbell (Dawn) of Milton, ON, Kevin Campbell (Andrea) of Winnipeg, and Krista Brown and family of Vancouver, BC; eight great-grandchildren; sister Lil; brothers, Sid (Mitch) of Vancouver, and Nick of Calgary, AB. She was predeceased by her loving husband Philip in 1998; sisters, Vi, Vera, Paula and brother Jim. Isabel was born in Kamsack, SK and later took up residence in Yorkton, SK where she met her husband Philip and later settled in Winnipeg. She was a member of the West Kildonan Curling Club and was also an active bowler. Following her hairdressing career with her sister Vera, she took up needlepoint and enjoyed knitting for her grandchildren. Philip and Isabel moved to their retirement home in Sandy Hook in 1980, and spent many happy and memorable years with their family and friends, before moving back to Winnipeg in October 1998. She will be remembered for her positive attitude, graceful qualities, and lovely smile. Missed the most will be her gentle touch, unconditional love and encouragement. The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and their support staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their compassion and understanding. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made in Isabels memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
