Date of Passing: Jun 14, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA TRACZ (nee SOPEL) It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and our best friend Anna Tracz, who peacefully, with her family by her side, passed on at the age of 78 years at Seven Oaks Hospital on June 14, 2003. Anna is survived by her loving husband Michel, of 55 years. She also leaves to mourn her greatest treasures and gifts from God, her five children, Barbara (John) Kutcher, Grazyna (Daniel) Goral, John (Elizabeth) Tracz, Bogusia (John) Rydzygowski, Maria (Fr. Taras) Kowch, also her 20 grandchildren, Robert, Roxanna, Joseph, Roman, Daniel, Andrew and Peter Kutcher; Michalina, Daniella, Alexandra, Jan and Barbara Goral; Joanna (Rob) and Tomek Tracz; Joseph Michael, Diana, Alexandra Rydzygowski; Bernadette and Michelle Kowch. Anna was predeceased by her parents John and Anna Sopel and her cherished, and never to be forgotten, first born child Gienia of 18 months. Anna was born in Bihale (Rzeszow), Poland on March 15, 1925. She married Michel on June 20, 1948 in Pieniezno, Poland, where all their children were born. Eventually they came to Winnipeg in 1982 to be reunited with all her children who made their new lives settling in Canada and the United States. Throughout her married life, Annas primary focus and goal was to be very close to her family and friends. She led a very spiritual life touching the hearts of everyone she met. Her generosity and kind compassionate nature was felt by everyone, and always prayed for others who were in need. Anna lived her life in faith to the fullest spreading the Lord and love of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph as the Holy Family by showing and doing her good deeds. She drew her strength from praying, her daily rosary, and attending as many church services she possibly could. She belonged to the third order of St. Francis, and the circle of the living Rosary. Wherever she lived she always made sure that her rooms were well decorated with many religious and family pictures. Anna cherished her quiet times at the lake with her family and friends. We can only have one mother, loving kind and true. No other friend in all the world will ever be as true as you. For all your loving kindness, you never asked for nothing in return. Even if the whole world would ever desert us, to you our dear mother we could turn. For those of us who knew you as our everything, we will always treasure your loving touch and memory. Thank-you Mom for everything, we believe as you always did, that one day we will all be together with you again to hear your voice, to see your smile, to sit and talk with you awhile. To be together in the same old way, would be our dearest wish for today. We will never forget you. Love Always!!! The family would like to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to the Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor Unit 6 and the Intensive Care Unit for their care and compassion of Anna. Active Pallbearers, Robert, Joseph, Roman, and Daniel Kutcher, Joseph, Michael Rydzygowski, Tomek Tracz, and Jan Goral.
