Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY DYMONT (nee KOMARCHUK) Mary passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital on June 16, 2003 at the age of 91 and has gone home to be with her Lord. She was predeceased by her husband Nick in 1977; brothers, Bill and Paul; grandson Sean and nephew John. Mary will be deeply missed by sons, Don (Edna), Bob (Linda), and Bill (Susan) grandchildren, Donald and Brent, Dean, Mary Lynne and Chris, and Jason and Craig; and seven great-grandchildren. Mary will also be deeply missed by her sister Ann; sister-in-law Ann and nieces Pat, Karen and Ellen. Mary was very active as President of her seniors apartment block, as well as Chairwoman of the recreation committee. She volunteered at the senior centre and acted as a translator. She enjoyed spending time baking and making perogies with friends at the church. She loved spending time at the cottage at Winnipeg Beach and loved to travel. In her free time she loved to sew, knit, play cards and bingo (she had a lucky touch). She enjoyed her time at Middlechurch spending her summers outside in the sun with a good book and participated throughout the year in various activities. Mary was loved and cherished for the unwavering love, strength and kindness that she so unselfishly gave to all that knew her. She always had a smile and a little joke for everyone. Prayers will be held on Sunday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, June 23 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church, 110 Disraeli St. with Very Rev. John A. Melnyk officiating. Mary will be laid to eternal rest with her beloved husband Nicholas at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Middlechurch Home for being so kind and wonderful to Mary for making the last years so very special and enjoyable and also thanks to the staff 5th floor, unit 2 at the Seven Oaks Hospital.
