EDWARD GEORGE KLIMCHUK March 22, 1941 - June 14, 2003 It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Ed was a farmer most of his life and a talented musician playing the saxophone and guitar. Playing music with his friends and enjoying nature were among his greatest joys in life. He was a kind and loving husband and father who loved his family and friends very much. Health problems began to change Eds life in 1998 with a stomach aneurysm, and in 1999 a courageous battle with throat cancer began. Predeceased by his parents Mike and Lena, brother Walter and many beloved family members. Survived by his loving wife Betty; daughter Lorraine; sons, Steven, Patrick, Terry and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Breanna and Jeremy; sister Helen and son Stanley; sister-in-law Nancy; son Dennis and many other relatives. Special thanks to all the doctors and staff of Percy E. Moore and the Health Sciences medical staff who tried so hard to help Ed. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Broad Valley Community Hall. Rev. Fr. Peter Chorney will officiate with interment to follow in Broad Valley Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations can be made towards the Handi-van or Personal Care Home, Fisher, Branch, MB, R0C 0Z0.
