JAMES RICHARD (RICK) HOBBS January 31, 1949 - June 17, 2003 Rick passed away on June 17, 2003 at his home in Winnipeg at the age of 54 years. Rick will always be remembered by his brother Patrick (Sue-Ann) and his sister, Sandra (Sandro Di Iorio) nieces and nephews, Meggin, Reagan, Kathryn, Ryan, Devon, and Kyle. Rick was predeceased by his mother, Kathleen in 1997, and his father Thomas in 1999. Rick was born in Winnipeg, grew up in Fort Rouge and started working with Canada Safeway as a young man where he was employed for over 30 years. He was an enthusiastic Bomber fan. His hobbies were bird watching, photography, and spending time at the place he most liked to be, Nutimik Lake. Cremation has taken place. At Ricks request no service will be held.
