MARY JANE (CLARK) MUIR Peacefully, on the morning of June 16, 2003, Mary Jane (Clark) Muir entered into rest at the MacGregor Personal Care Home, MacGregor, MB. Grandma was the only child of Joseph and Anne Clark, born February 7, 1913 at Katrime, MB. Grandmas mother passed away when she was one year old and her father raised her. On July 8, 1933 she married Earl Douglas Muir and they farmed 1 and a half miles south of MacGregor on PTH 350. During their farming years they moved back and forth from the farm to town during summer and winter. Grandma worked at the Esso and Hospital as cook and in later years in the laundry until she retired. Grandma will be sadly missed by her children, Bill (Roberta) Muir, Prince George, BC, Arlene (Bruce) Muir, MacGregor, MB, and Glen (Carolle) Muir, Pickering, ON; grandchildren, Allyson Muir, James (Shawn) Muir, Joann (Cam) Asher, Carolyn (Trevor) Neustater, Doug (Elaine) Muir, Karen (Joe) Siganski, Lisa Muir, Robert Muir, David Howse, and Lilianne Howse; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Kaitlyn, Rick (Heather), David (Lisa), Candace (Mike), Michael, Amber, Clayton, Teagan, Kira, and Jared; one great-great-grandchild Taylor. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Anne; husband Earl in 1971 and one son Bruce in 2001. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacGregor United Church, MacGregor, MB with Rev. Quentin Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the MacGregor Cemetery.
