Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN ETHEL WIRTH On Saturday, June 14, 2003, Mrs. Eileen Wirth quietly passed away at her home at the age of 85 years to claim Gods promise of eternal life. She was born in Winnipeg, MB, moving to Toronto where she worked as a secretary for 10 years. Upon returning to Winnipeg, she met and married her late husband Albert Wirth on September 11, 1954. They farmed near Oakshela, SK until retiring to Edmonton in 1986. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted daughter Laura; two treasured granddaughters, Shannon and Meghan; brother Joe; sister-in-law Vera of Essex, England; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. She was predeceased by two sisters, Elsie and Violet; two brothers, William and Christopher. She will always be remembered by her extended family of New Norway, AB. Her kindness, generosity and love towards others will keep her memory special in the many lives she touched. A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2003 at Hainstocks Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2003 in Concordia Lutheran Church, 5420 - 19A Avenue. Interment will follow at New Norway Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of floral tributes donations may be made to the Alberta Foundation for Diabetes Research or the Allan Grey Foundation.
