She attended Bible School and also took a Home Economics course. She married Martin in 1942 and they lived on a farm nearby. Anna enjoyed gardening, canning, and her home baked bread was delicious. Together, they managed a successful mixed farming operation. Several years after the death of Martin, she moved to Carman with her family. There, she enjoyed growing plants of all kinds. She was an avid reader and scrabble player and enjoyed other board games. Recording her favourite radio programs and music gave her great pleasure. Upon the sale of her farm, she purchased a cottage at Moose Lake, where she enjoyed many pleasant times with her family until her health deteriorated. She moved to the Boyne Lodge Personal Care Home in 2000. Throughout the many hardships in her life, her strong faith in God sustained her. Mother - you will be greatly missed by all.
