Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID ARNAUD December 1, 1910 - June 18, 2003 Peacefully on Wednesday June 18 David Arnaud passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 92. David was predeceased by his parents Sander and Eva; his brothers Marvin, Charlie, and Morley; and his sisters Lea and Mae. David leaves to cherish his many memories two sons, Sander (Pam) and Rick (Cheryl) his grandchildren Michael, Ricki, Ryan, Dave, and Carley as well as many nieces and nephews. David was born in Winnipeg in 1910, where he grew up and joined the Army at the age of 29. David served as a Sergeant with the Motor Ambulance Convoy #1 overseas in the Second World War. Upon his return to Winnipeg he was married and raised his family. Before David set out to serve his country he was one of the first owners of a Taxi service in Winnipeg. In Davids later years he spent his time devoted to his grandchildren as well as shopping for those special gifts which brought him much joy. Davids memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed. The family would like to extend special thanks to the third floor Medical Rehab Unit staff at the Victoria Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
