ELIZABETH LORNA (BETH) CLUFF
Born: Jul 15, 1916
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH LORNA (BETH) CLUFF Peacefully after a short illness, Beth passed away at the age of 86. Beth will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Sheila, Barbara, Linda (Gary), Jan (Ron), and Ken; grandchildren, Debbie (Rhein), Susan (John), Amanda, and Nelson; five great-grandchildren; her brother Bill (May) and many extended family and friends. Special thanks to Cathy Filmore. Beth was born July 5, 1916 in White River and despite moving to Winnipeg at a young age, cherished many fond memories of life in that small Northern Ontario town. Church and family played a big part of Beths life and after her marriage to Bert in 1953 she was devoted to raising her five children. The family especially remembers the great times with Beth at the cottage in Clear Water Bay, Lake of the Woods. Beth will be remembered for always having her hands busy. Beth was talented and generous. She quilted and knitted lovely pieces, she baked delicious fruit cakes and cookies. All of her "home crafts" she shared with family and friends. Beth embraced lifes challenges and looked forward to new adventures. In her later years, she travelled throughout Canada and Alaska and to Australia and New Zealand. Beth was an active member of the Broadway First Baptist Church. Special thanks goes to the Womens Christian Fellowship group for their support and companionship over the years. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Unit and 6A for their compassionate care and graciousness in Beths last days. At Beths request cremation will be immediate. Flowers are gratefully declined. A service of celebration of Beths life will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Broadway First Baptist Church, 790 Honeyman Ave., Winnipeg. Reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to: Voyage Funeral Home 1531 Pembina Hwy. 284-7500
