ALMA DEMOISSAC Our beloved mother, grandmother, Alma DeMoissac of Tache Centre passed away peacefully June 19, 2003 at the age of 87. She will be greatly missed by her son Georges, his wife Bonnie and her two grandchildren, Daniel and Richard. She leaves to mourn her sister Soeur Stella Levasseur (St-Hyacinthe) and her brother Honore Levasseur (St. Cathrines). She was predeceased by her dear husband Henri, her five brothers (Lorenzo, Lionel, Conrad, Ulric, Raoul and three sisters Helena, Solange and Therese. Mom was born in La Salle and grew up in St. Norbert. She was married to Henri for 19 years and continued loving him all her life. Alma was a gentle, caring woman to all who knew her, and encouraged many with her words of wisdom. She loved to sew in her younger years and knit beautifully. She greatly enjoyed cooking and when she could no longer do so, she would read recipe books or watch TV cooking shows for entertainment. Her pride and joy were her two grandchildren. Because of her great faith she devoted herself in praying for her loved ones throughout her life. The nursing staff at Tache Centre cherished her gentle spirit. She enriched the lives of all those around her and will be sadly missed by many nephews and nieces who loved her dearly. A celebration of her life will be held at Eglise Precieux-Sang, 200 Kenny Street on Monday June 23, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one half hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a charity of your choice. Interment will follow at St. Norbert Cemetery. We wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Nursing Staff at Tache Centre for the care and support given to Mom. "Entre tes mains je remets Seigneur mon esprit." P. COUTU & CO.
