RUTH HAY LANG Ruth Hay (Noble), aged 90 years, went peacefully, to be with her Lord, on June 12, 2003. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Frederick Andrew; her daughter Charon Ruth Gooding; her sons, Frederick Stuart (Helen) and Douglas Andrew (Georgialee) her grandchildren, James Frederick (Shannon), Chandra Lynn, Alexandra Ruth and Jennifer Clare (Fred) as well as many relatives and friends. Ruth served as a volunteer for 50 years as a member of the St. Agnes Guild, Winnipeg Childrens Hospital, and the Lions Gate Hospital Auxiliary, North Vancouver. She attended St. Davids United and West Vancouver United Churches while residing at the coast and previously Elim Chapel and Bethesda churches in Winnipeg, where she also served for 10 years teaching a young womens class at Our Hope Mission. Memorial services to be held at West Vancouver United Church, 2062 Esquimalt Ave., Monday, June 23 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Winnipeg or Regent College, Vancouver.
