Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSS ARNOLD BAKER Peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2003, Ross Arnold Baker passed away at Misericordia Place at the age of 89. Ross will be lovingly remembered by his son Bob (Myrna) daughter Elaine (Don) son Bill; grandchildren Kyle and Naomi; and great-grandson Ben. He was predeceased by his mother and father, wife Agnes, brother Ralph, sister Lois, and granddaughter Bryana. He is survived by his brothers, Jim and Allan; and sisters, Evelyn and Mary. Dad was born on January 17, 1914 on the family farm near Flaxcombe, SK. Growing up on a farm instilled in him a love of the land. He enjoyed farm work and did that for many years even after moving to Winnipeg. After farming, he decided to go into the construction field and did that until his retirement. Dad was an avid gardener and was proud of his bountiful garden. Hunting and fishing were Dads passions. He was happiest when he was outdoors. Dad enjoyed his grandchildren and nothing would make his face light up more than to see one of them walk through his door. Many happy days were spent with them at the Grand Beach family cottage. In his later years, Dad lived on the second floor at Misericordia Place. He sure enjoyed visits from family and friends. The family would like to especially thank the staff at Misericordia Place for the wonderful care he received. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ross memory to a charity of your choice.
