AGNES-CLAIRE KENNEDY Born February 1, 1910, died peacefully on April 8, 2003 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, with family present. Cremation has taken place; interment will be at Duluth, MN, at a later date. She is survived by her four children: Gerhard Jr. (Barbara), Armstrong, BC; Anthony (Wendy), Salt Spring Is., BC; Barbara-Glen Chapman (Christopher), Uxbridge, ON; and Nancy-Claire Kennedy (Iain Paterson), Pacific Palisades, CA. Grandchildren: Maureen-Claire Arnold (Milton), James Kennedy and Jennifer Kennedy, Ottawa area; Daniel Kennedy, Sarah Kennedy and Julian Chapman (Wendy), Toronto. Three great-grandchildren: Jordan-Claire Arnold and Christopher and Amelia Chapman. Observant and thoughtful of others, Agnes formed many enduring friendships within an unusually wide spread of ages. She was devoted to her family who treasure her memory and hope they reflect some of her qualities. A memorial celebration will take place on Thursday, June 26, 11:00 a.m., St. John Brebeuf Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Pl., River Heights, Winnipeg. The family looks forward to greeting friends at a reception in the parish hall following the service.
