Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLENDA NOREEN SLUPINSKI (nee LAVIS) April 10, 1950 - June 21, 2003 After a long and painful fight against cancer, Glenda has finally given up the fight and has found peace in the arms of Jesus. Born Glenda Noreen Lavis, oldest daughter of Jim and Alice Lavis of Flin Flon, MB. Glenda was preceded in death by both her parents. Glenda leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Benedict (Ben) Slupinski; his daughter Vicki Graham of Edmonton; her daughter Tracey of Winnipeg; her sister Audrey (Roy) Henry; her sister Debra (Kelly) Horrack of Flin Flon and her only brother Vernon Louis of Vancouver; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and her only grandchild Shai Benarroch. Her sister-in-law Stephanie Russell and family have been a great comfort to her. As Glenda had requested, cremation has already taken place. The families would like to thank the kindness shown by the Cancer Care Unit nurses, her doctors, Dr. Maksymiuk, Dr. Latoki and Dr. Lypschitz. They worked very hard to make Glendas life as comfortable as possible. Celebration of Glendas life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 129 Dagmar St., at 7:00 p.m., June 26. "God bless the little children for they shall inherit the earth".
