Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTED (THEOPHIL) WEISS 1922-2003 Peacefully, with his family by his side, Ted passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2003 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Seven Oaks General hospital. He was 81 years old. Ted was born in Grahamdale, MB, May 25, 1922, and was a decorated veteran of the Second World War. After serving his country, he settled in Winnipeg where he met his future wife Mabel, whom he was married to for 50 years. He loved to garden and we will all miss Grandpas tomatoes and carrots. One of his greatest joys was spending hours playing with his 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dad also spent many enjoyable hours with his two sons on numerous fishing trips throughout the province, as well as with the rest of his family at Lee River. All his children benefited from his superior carpentry skills as well as his great stews and soups. Dad was an avid reader with a penchant for Canadian history, politics and religion, which led to many a boisterous conversation with anybody who dropped by. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife Mabel; and their children, Aggie Walters (Gerry), Doug Weiss, Darlene Keir (Dave), Dennis Weiss (Janice) Penelope Epp (David) and Kerri Cannon (Anthony). A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, at Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Following cremation, a private family interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. GARRY MEMORIAL Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematorium 1291 McGillivray Blvd - 925-1120
