Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYVONNE BEASSE (nee HIMPE) November 25, 1907 - June 27, 2003 Peacefully with her family at her side, Yvonne passed away at the Ste Rose du Lac General Hospital. Mom was born in Wevelghem, Belgium and she immigrated to Canada July 1, 1920. She settled with her parents in the Makinak area. She married Emmanuel Beasse on October 23, 1944 at Ste Rose. Together they farmed the Beasse family homestead until 1978 retiring to Ste Rose du Lac. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Emelie Himpe; her loving husband Emmanuel; her brothers, Gilbert and Alban; and Derrick Craig (grandson). She leaves to mourn her children, Victor (Rita), Elvier (Paul Brunel), Lucie (Barry Kuly) and her grandchildren, Rachel Goy (Ron), Ernest Beasse (Melanie), Nicole Beasse (fiancee Patrick), Valerie Petillion (Shaun), Robert Brunel (special friend, Erin) and Jennifer Brunel (special friend, Allan), Marc Kuly (special friend, Kristin) and Michelle Kuly; great-grandsons, Mitchell and Clayton Goy. Prayers will be said on Monday, June 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ste Rose de Lima Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 1 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ste Rose de Lima Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Yvonnes nieces, nephews and treasured friend may all consider themselves honorary pallbearers. Special thanks to the Doctors and Staff at the Ste Rose General Hospital for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ste Rose General Hospital Palliative Care and the Ste Rose de Lima Catholic Church.
