RONALD V. KEITH 1930 - 2003 It is with sadness that the family of Ronald V. Keith announce his passing on Monday, June 23, 2003 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by his father and mother, and oldest brother Matthew. Ron led a rich and fulfilling life, both personally and professionally. As Founder and President of Ronald V. Keith Insurance Agencies Ltd., Ron served the insurance needs of literally thousands of his customers for more than 30 years from his north-end Winnipeg office. Even in retirement, Ron spent two to three days per week at the office, continuing to provide "personalized service always" to his loyal clients. Rons success was no accident. He succeeded in business because he was the ultimate professional. He treated every customer as his only customer and was both respectful and empathetic - understanding that as an insurance broker, he was entrusted to provide comfort and peace-of-mind to his clients. In addition to being a leader in business, Ron was also a loving husband and father. He provided many years of love, joy and companionship to his wife Lita. They shared a special bond that wont ever be broken. Lita takes comfort in knowing that Ron will continue to watch over her and she will cherish his memory always. Ron was also a role model and inspiration to his eight children, Ron Jr. (Susan), Don (Pat), Gord (Elizabeth), John (Leah), Ward (Joanne), Wendy Stumpf (Tom), Leonard, and Darlene. All of his children learned from their dad, important life lessons about self-respect and respect of others. Ron also made a difference in the lives of his 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom will remember grandpa for his kindness and generosity. He is also survived by his brother Frank (Margaret) in Edmonton, sister Darlene Shurgot (Joe) in California, and Flora, his first wife of 32 years. All who had the pleasure of knowing Ronald V. Keith can attest to his kindness, compassion and positive outlook. He will continue to be a source of inspiration and strength to his family and many friends in death, as he was in life. Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. in Winnipeg, MB. Rest in peace dad, knowing that you touched the lives of so many people. We will miss you very much.
