KENNETH ALFRED SELLICK Dad passed away peacefully with his two daughters by his side at Pinawa Hospital on June 22, 2003. He was born in Winnipeg on February 20, 1929 and was 74 years old. He was predeceased by his beloved wife and "Coach" Phyllis in January, 1999. He is survived by his two daughters, Nancy (Allan) Gould and Janice (John) Enright. He will always be remembered by his five loving grandchildren, Kris, Katie, Joey, Mitch and Patty. He is also survived by his sisters, Bette Lamberd and family, Phyllis Elliott and family and his sister-in-law Dorothy McCoy and family. Dad held many roles during his lifetime and he approached everything he did with love and commitment; son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, carpenter, general contractor, community volunteer, caregiver and friend to all who knew him. He loved his summers at the cottage and after his retirement in 1987 from F.W. Sawatzky Ltd., he and Phyllis built a wonderful life together at their lakeside home in Lac du Bonnet. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Pinawa Hospital and the Lac du Bonnet Home Care attendants, who did such a great job of caring for dad over the last year. A very special thanks to all of dads good friends who took the time to stop in and visit him. He really enjoyed the company and he loved to share a story and a laugh with his buddies. To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dads memory may be made to the Pinawa Hospital, 30 Vanier Rd., Pinawa, MB R0E 1L0. As long as we live, we will always be glad Grateful and proud of the father we had Never more than a thought away Quietly remembered every day.
