DOROTHY GROVES Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2003, Mrs. Dorothy Groves, at the age of 82 years, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Wesley Groves and the late Mr. Tom Groves. Dorothy was a creative writer and worked in advertising and sales with CHEC and CJOC Radio for many years. After leaving there, she started the Christopher Robin Nursery School in Lethbridge, AB, which she operated for 10 years. This was the true love of her life. Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband, Wesley Groves of the T. Eaton Co. in 1979; her second husband and Wesleys brother, Tom Groves of Winnipeg in 1995; and her parents, James and Freida Walker. She is survived by her two sons, Douglas (Cheryl) Groves of Kitimat, BC, and David (Mona) Groves of Richmond, BC; her two sisters, Joan (Gary) Schultz, and Bev (Doug) Drummond; her brother, Dave (Faith) Walker; her grandchildren, Shannon (Jim) Ferguson, Steven (Pam) Groves, and Gordon (Katja) Groves; and eight great-grandchildren. At Dorothys request, there will be no service. Ashes interment will follow at a later date in Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg, MB. Arrangements entrusted to Bruce Small of Martin Bros.
