ALFRED (FREDDY) BLAIS Peacefully on June 27, 2003 at the Grace Hospital, Freddy Blais, aged 75 years, beloved husband of Julie; loving father of Janet (Bruce) Poppa to Ross and Jaclyn; brother to Beatrice Sampson and Noel (Kay) brother-in-law to Eileen and Esther. Freddy was predeceased by three brothers, Romeo, Leo and Joseph. Freddy was born in St. Boniface. Aviation was the love of his life. He was an aircraft engineer who worked on the Hell Diver Aircraft. He raced motorcycles, stock cars, was a wrestler, a pilot and loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Western Canada Aviation Museum, Restoration Project, Hangar T2, 958 Ferry Road, Winnipeg, MB, R3H 0Y8. In accordance with his wishes there will be no formal service and cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
