PEGGY BEATRICE MORRIS (nee OSMAN) On June 7, 2003 at Grandview, MB, Peggy Beatrice Morris passed away at the age of 85 years with family at her side. Surviving are two sons, Sean (Ken) and Carol Morris of Spruce Grove, AB, Clarence of Grandview, four grandchildren, Michelle, Andrew, Colin, and Elinor. Two sisters, her twin Phyllis Osman of Winnipeg, Thelma Hay of Edmonton. Predeceased by parents, Ivo and Caroline Osman; brother Ken Osman; and her husband Sydney Morris and a niece Glenda. Peggy graduated from Brandon Teachers College Class of 1939 and taught school at Grandview, Salisbury School, Sherwood School, and Birds Hill School. She was Principal in River East S.D. for 14 years. After retirement, Peggy moved to Grandview where she joined the Grandview Legion Ladies Auxiliary No. 14. She had also served as President of Manitoba Society of Seniors (Western Region). A service to mark the death and celebrate the life of Peggy Morris will be held Saturday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Grandview United Church, Grandview, MB. Interment service will be held Monday, June 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg. Memorial gifts may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
