RAYMOND LIONEL JOSEPH ROCHER On May 22, 2003, Raymond Lionel Joseph Rocher passed away peacefully at the age of 74 years. Born January 12, 1929, Ray grew up in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB. Predeceased by his loving wife Lorraine, October 1994; and by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Ray is survived by his children, Debbie (Lyle), Denise (Greg), and Ron (Jill) grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole, Rochelle, Phillip, Melissa, and James. Ray will also be missed by his partner Evelyn Harasemchuk and her ten children. Ray is also survived by his sister Clarisse Vermette of Winnipeg. As a young man, Ray began working with Canadian National Railway, operating a Wellman crane. He worked with CNR for 35 years before retiring in 1986. A true gentleman, Ray was an avid bridge player, loved to play his fiddle, and enjoyed sports. Ray loved to tend his garden and enjoyed the outdoors. Ray will be lovingly remembered by all of his nephews, nieces, and cousins. Memorial service took place on Tuesday, May 27 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Kamloops Funeral Home.
