HELEN SAWATZKY Helen Sawatzky, aged 82 years of Altona, MB and formerly of Halbstadt, MB passed away on July 2, 2003 at the Altona Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband Henry H. Sawatzky; five sons, John (Marjorie), Pete (Carol), Bill (Evelyn), Dave (Carol), Al (Karen), 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 6 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona, MB with interment to follow in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. In memory of Helen Sawatzky, donations may be made to Manitoba Central Committee (M.C.C.). Wiebe Funeral Home Altona 204-324-5404 in care of arrangements.
