TYSON WILLIAM KANSKI (1980 - 2003)
Suddenly and tragically, Tyson was taken away from us on June 27, 2003. Left to mourn his passing are his father Rick, mother Karen (nee Leson), his sister Cynthia, his maternal grandmother Alexandra Leson, his paternal grandfather William Kanski, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Mike Leson and his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Kanski (nee Paterson). Tyson graduated from River East Collegiate in 1998 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg in 2001. He had aspirations of becoming an attorney and had applied for entry to the University of Manitobas law faculty. Tyson was endowed with a keen mind and a love of learning. He never backed away from a challenge and lived his life to the fullest. He will be fondly remembered as a caring young man who was always there for his family and friends and will be sadly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. A service celebrating Tysons life will be held on Wednesday, July 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Dr. Rev. Sharon Wilson officiating. Interment at St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Manitoba.
We miss you Tyson!
Easy riding until we join up again.
For all the joy thy children shall bring,
The risk of grief will run.
Well shelter them with tenderness,
Well love them while we may,
And for the happiness weve known,
Forever-grateful stay.
But shall the angels call them
Much sooner than weve planned,
Well brave the bitter grief that comes
And try to understand.
