HELEN KRAHN 1908 - 2003 On Sunday, June 29, 2003 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Helen Krahn (nee Sawatzky), aged 95, of the Salem Home Winkler, went to her eternal rest. She was predeceased by husband Jacob J. Krahn in 1981, grandson Randy Hamm in 1983, and all of her two sisters and four brothers. She leaves to mourn her passing three daughters, Verna and husband Jake Hamm of Friedensruh, Lily and husband Bill Driedger of Winnipeg, Frieda and husband Cornie Blatz of Winkler; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held Tuesday and Wednesday at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and at church prior to service. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, Rev. Art Wiebe and Rev. David Friesen officiating. Interment will follow at Winkler Cemetery.
