PEARL EDNA McINTOSH (nee GRAY) With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who left us to be with Our Heavenly Father on Friday, June 27, 2003. This spunky little lady enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be remembered by all for her quick wit and kind heart. Always a tune on her lips and a dance in her step! Pearl was born on September 10, 1924 in Langruth, MB, one of 13 children. She moved to Winnipeg, where she met and married her life companion Lawson Roderick McIntosh. They lived and raised their only child Pat in the Fort Rouge area of Winnipeg. In their retirement years they moved to Victoria, BC where they enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the island. Pearl returned to Winnipeg after the passing of Lawson, to be with her daughter Pat, where they were able to spend four enjoyable years together. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Lawson, son-in-law Bud Lough, and nine siblings. Her memory will live on through her daughter Pat Lough; grandchildren, Rod Lough (Tammy), Glennis Bowles (Paul), Karen Puddicombe (Mike) great-grandchildren, Taryn, Kristyn, Aly, Reg, Becky, Joel and Jessica; sisters, Isabel Thompson of Langruth, Anna Arksey and Marie Magnusson of Brandon; and brother-in-law James (Bob) McIntosh of Victoria. Thank you to extended family members and friends who made her last few years so precious. A special thank you to Pastors Larry and Phyllis Fudge for their spiritual love and care. A celebration of Pearls Life will be held on Thursday, July 3, at 11:00 a.m. in the Southlands Community Church, 85 Kesler Rd. with her grandson Captain Mike Puddicombe officiating. Donations in Pearls memory may be made to Southlands Community Church, 85 Kesler Rd., Winnipeg, MB R3T 6A5 or a charity of ones choice. Mom, Love was your Treasured Gift to us.
