JULES ALFRED MORRISSETTE 1927-2003 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle Jules on June 29, 2003 at the St. Norbert Nursing Home at the age of 76 years old. He leaves to mourn his brothers, Henry (Nonie) and family, Gerry (Kathleen) and family; sister Charlotte Gendreau (John) and her family; many nieces and nephews, extended family and other relatives. Jules was predeceased by his son George; his parents, George and Albertine; brothers, Maurice and wife Mary, Bernard; sisters, Pat and husband John Taylor, Yvette and husband Herby Sweeny; brothers-in-law, Ed Reitmeier and Hector Gendreau; sister-in-law Pauline; three nieces; two nephews. Jules was born on February 16, 1927 in Fannystelle and received his schooling in La Salle. He lived all his life in Manitoba having worked for the City of Winnipeg Water Works since 1949 until his retirement when he moved to Winnipeg Beach. The family extends their sincere thanks to the St. Norbert Personnel Care Home staff for their love and care for Jules. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 3, at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Vital Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. with Rev. Dr. Patrick A. Morand Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6 or CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
