MICHAEL MRYGLOD Peacefully, on Monday, June 30, 2003, Michael A. Mryglod, aged 92 years, passed away at Arborg and District Health Centre. Michael will be sadly missed and always remembered by his loving wife Katherine of 63 years; his sons, Albert and Don; daughters, Joan, Betty (Gary), Shirley (Harold) eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Appolonia Mryglod; his brothers, Andrew, Steve, Dan, Paul, Peter, Bill, Joe, Nick; sisters, Mary, Elizabeth, Kay and Frances; and also by his son-in-law Norm. Born in Austria, Michael immigrated to Canada in 1911. On October 17, 1939 he married his love and together raised a family at Sky Lake, MB. He began his working career operating a saw mill, farming, postmaster and bus driver for 17 years with Evergreen School Division. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Mikes life will be held on Monday, July 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. The family wishes to extend a very special thanks to Dr. Van Wyk and the nursing staff at Arborg and District Health Care Centre for their loving care, concern and support. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Mikes memory to Arborg and District Health Care Centre. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
