PATRICIA M. SANDERS On Saturday, June 28, 2003, Pat Sanders passed away after a long illness with cancer. She died in a place she loved, the family cottage at Falcon Lake. Pat was dearly loved by her mother Esther and brother David. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by Esther, David, Aunt Reta Sanders, and very close family friend Betty ODonnell. In addition there were a great number of friends which Pat held dear: Joanne, Judy, Carmen, Val, Aileen, Jenny and others. Pat was born May 1, 1951 in Winnipeg. The majority of her life was spent in Winnipeg, with the exception of several years spent teaching in Gilbert Plains, Warren and Stonewall. She was a kindergarten teacher and touched the lives of thousands in her chosen career. Pat was a longtime member of the St. James Presbyterian Church. Pat loved spending her summers at the cottage and travelling. She and David made annual visits to their friends in Florida, Mickey and Donald. Pat also loved visiting tropical vacation spots such as the Caribbean and Hawaii. She loved showing the familys antique car at various shows and judgemeets. In compliance with Pats wishes a private family interment will take place. Friends are requested to remember the good times they spent with Pat.
