PAMELA JOAN BERTHELETTE September 16, 1952 - July 1, 2003 Suddenly and peacefully, at her home in Grand Rapids, surrounded by her loving family, Pamela Joan Berthelette (nee Rapke), passed away at the age of 50 years. Pam leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Denis; her son Chris; her daughter Kelly (Rob) Selkirk; her grandson Tynan and new granddaughter Emma; her mother Elsie Rapke; her mother-in-law Terry Berthelette; her in-laws, Shirley and Geordie Selkirk; her sisters, Vera (Henry) Loewen and Eunice (Robert) Baldwin; her brother Lloyd (Debbie) Rapke; her sisters-in-law, Flo (Syd) Smith, Lorette (Bill) Boyes, Margaret (Rick) Clarke, Louise (Brad) Fountain and Donna Strongquill; her brothers-in-law, Gunnar (Freda) Berthelette and Maurice (Heather) Berthelette; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends; her special friend Sharon and her "buddy" Donna. Pam was predeceased by her dad, Leonard Rapke and by her father-in-law, Tony Berthelette. Pam grew up on the farm in Moosehorn, which she was always proud to say. She moved to Selkirk to work, where she met her love Denis. Later they moved to Grand Rapids, where they raised their family, enjoying camping, fishing, hunting and reading. For the last 22 years, Pam managed the Grand Rapids Co-op. Pam was greatly involved in her community, serving on the town council and on numerous volunteer boards and committees. Pams family would like to thank Dr. Gall, Tammy Merchant, Kim Hutchinson, Sandra Cook, Anne Flett, RCMP Officers Graham Kingdon, Steve Mancini and especially Cst. Harvey Legary, for all their love and help during this time of our loss. A celebration of Pams life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Grand Rapids, MB. Bishop Peter Sutton will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pams memory to the Lakeside Willing Workers 4-H Club c/o Elsie Kiesman P. O.
