ROBERT ROY COUTURE October 4, 1972 - June 28, 2003 Rob tragically lost his life due to a dirt bike accident on Saturday, June 28, 2003. Rob leaves to mourn his mother Shirley; father Marc (Joan) sister Nicole (niece Brooklyn, fiance, Darlene Rivard, Winnipeg; grandmothers, Murl Draper and Rose Couture (BC) great aunt Vyril King (Regina) uncles, Rodger (Shirley) Coquitlam, Pierre, Penticton; aunts, Fleurette, Winnipeg; Pat (John) Richmond BC; several cousins, the Rivard Family and many friends especially the Honorary Pallbearers Justin, Don, Neil, John, Kevin, Joanne and Krista. Rob was predeceased by his grandfathers, Roy Draper, Laurent Couture; uncles, Bob and Richard. He was employed for the past nine years as a Correctional Officer at the Kenora District Jail. His passions were physical fitness, motorbikes and his canine companions, Tanker and Teka. Rob was dedicated to whatever he chose to do especially his law enforcement career. Son, You were my life. Mom Memorial services will be held Friday, July 4 at St. Albans Cathedral at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Catherine Giroux officiating. Interment of Robs cremated remains will follow at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made in Robs memory to the Humane Society, the Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
