ALICE ROSS It is with the deepest sadness that the family of Alice Angela Helene Mary Ross, announce her sudden passing on July 1, 2003 at the Grace Hospital. Our sincere appreciation to the wonderful staff of the Grace Hospital for the kindness and love shown to Alice. Their care and compassion will always be remembered. Alice was born in Winnipeg, MB on February 29, 1960. She received her education in Winnipeg, and was currently updating her degree in accounting at Red River Community College. Alice faced many challenges in her life with courage and determination. Over a period of several years, Alice volunteered her time at many organizations throughout the city, gaining valuable work experience. It was her patience and determination that eventually led her to obtain a full time position with JRI. Alice made many friends through her kindness and willingness to help others, not only at her workplace, but also at the Carpathia Housing Co-Op where she volunteered her time. Alices strong faith and love of family brought her much comfort. She was an active member of Church of the Rock. Alice was known for her great love of music, literature, movies and special occasions. She enjoyed travelling, spending time with her family, and had a special love of animals, especially Corky, Bambi and Casey. She had a great fondness for the character Snoopy. Alice will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her twin brother Cyrus, sister-in-law Darlene and nephew Andrew; as well as family members in BC, AB, ON, MB, NS, Ecuador and England, especially her namesake Aunt Alice; cousins, Bunny, Willian and Steven. She was predeceased by her mother Ann in 1990. We will truly miss Alices genuine appreciation of life and independent spirit. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street).
