JEAN WISHART WILLIAMSON Jean Williamson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at the Grace Hospital. Jean is survived by her family; daughter Barbara (Don) Duguid; son Ken (Gale) Williamson of Lakeville, MN; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Alexander Williamson in 1983; also three brothers and four sisters. Jean was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on July 21, 1906. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1912. Jean had resided in Winnipeg all her life. Summers were spent at the family cottage in Lac Lu, ON for the past 65 years. Jean loved to watch curling on television, as well as watching at the various curling clubs. She looked forward every year to Christmas Eve dinners with the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff on the third floor of the Grace Hospital, especially Yolande, for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Monday July 7, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with interment to follow.
