NETTIE BERG With her children at her side, Nettie Berg left this world peacefully to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 1, 2003. Nettie was born on May 25, 1913 to Diedrich and Marie Hildebrandt in Halbstadt, MB, where she lived until she married William Berg on July 9, 1936. Together they had eight children. Nettie was predeceased by her husband William in 1992 and two daughters in infancy. She is survived by three sons, Bill, Ben (Meryle), John (Jackie) three daughters, Mary, Susan (Murray), Gerdie (Vern), 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, also by three sisters and three brothers. Nettie lived for her family, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church at Stuartburn, MB with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Viewing at the church prior to the service. In memory of Nettie Berg, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
